In this artwork, it was more of the emotions. I used wire, clay and paper. Kept layering and cutting back into it, until the surface felt like something that had been through a lot. It started as something broken, but the process was about finding a way to hold it together. Now it feels stable. Like the history is still there, but it’s a part of what keeps it whole.
