Tanvi Parekh is a contemporary pointillism Indian artist based in Pune, whose practice
explores the intersection of art,
science, and inner experience. With a strong academic foundation from the Maharaja
Sayajirao University of Baroda and
further training in art and movement therapy, her work reflects both intellectual
inquiry and emotional depth. Working
primarily in intricate dot-art and mandala-inspired techniques, she transforms forms
into expansive visual narratives.
Her compositions often evoke contemporary and modern themes with traditional patterns
that are rhythmic and meditative.
Through repetition and detail, her process becomes both a visual language and a
contemplative act. She chants with each
dot/point that she paints in her art pieces.
Her works have been displayed at various prestigious galleries and are part of
collections across India and abroad. A defining milestone in her journey is the
inclusion of her handcrafted pointillism artwork in the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum,
selected by the Honorable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu—an honor that reflects
both artistic excellence and cultural significance Beyond her studio practice, she is
deeply engaged in art education and community outreach.
As the founder of Tanu’s ARTh
Art Academy, she promotes inclusive creativity, encouraging individuals of all ages to
explore artistic expression. Her work as a certified art and movement therapy
practitioner further informs her belief in art as a tool for healing, connection, and
self-discovery. She believes Art is not merely a visual practice – it is a way of seeing
inward, a meditative practice. Through her evolving body of work, Tanvi Parekh invites
viewers to look inward—into the unseen worlds within the body and mind—revealing that
beneath the surface of form lies a universe of rhythm, energy, and quiet wonder.
